ASERCOM Convention 2026
Where: Belgium, Europe
When: 23 January 2026

ASERCOM Convention 2026

The Association of European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers (ASERCOM) has announced the title and programme highlights of its upcoming ASERCOM Convention 2026, taking place on 23 January 2026 in Brussels. Under the title “The Cooling Continuum – Europe and the World in Transition,” the event will explore how standardisation, regulation and continuous innovation are reshaping the global cooling industry.

“Europe continues to lead the conversation on refrigerants, sustainability and safety – but we also recognise that the RACHP world is changing fast, in the US, in China and far beyond,” says Marco Masini, President of ASERCOM. “Our role is to keep that dialogue open, constructive and technically sound. The Convention will be the ideal platform for this exchange.”

From Brussels to Beijing – and Washington

The 2026 Convention will bring together leading voices from policymaking, research and industry to discuss how regional approaches are converging or diverging in the global transition of the RACHP sector. Confirmed keynote speakers include:
• Arno Kaschl, DG CLIMA, sharing insights on European policy developments and the upcoming F-Gas revision.
• Stephen Yurek, AHRI (USA), providing a North American perspective on policy impacts and transatlantic alignment.
• Prof. WANG Baolong, Tsinghua University (China), presenting China’s refrigerant substitution pathways and related national initiatives.
• Manon Roussel, EPEE, addressing the PFAS debate and its implications for Europe’s regulatory framework.

Europe’s technical voice in global transformation

Alongside these keynote sessions, the Convention will showcase ASERCOM’s technical work on refrigerants, cybersecurity, PFAS policy, European regulation and global standardisation. Each ASERCOM Working Group will present key insights and initiatives contributing to a coherent, forward-looking European position in a rapidly evolving international context.

“The Convention is more than an annual meeting,” adds Masini. “It’s where Europe’s technological expertise meets global momentum – a place to discuss, challenge and build the next chapter of our industry together.”
