With HFC phase-down now being implemented across Europe, and likely to be adopted in many other regions, the IIR Conference on HFO Refrigerants and Low GWP Blends offers an opportunity for those developing new working fluids to meet with the equipment design engineers who provide products, and the system installers who use them, as well as with representatives of the end-user community who have to live with the consequences of these scientific and technical decisions.
First held in September 2018 in Birmingham, UK, the conference was welcomed with significant interest and brought together an international audience of over 170 professionals. Over 155 delegates from 14 countries participated in the second conference, held in June 2021 in Osaka, Japan (Online).
The conference covered essential information on the characteristics of HFO Refrigerants and Low GWP Blends, system and component design, lubricants, flammability, safety, environmental impact, efficiency, legislation, codes of practice and standards.
The 3rd IIR Conference on HFO Refrigerants and Low GWP Blends (HFO2023) will be held on April 4-6, 2023 in Shanghai, China.
