Carrier is teaming up with Atrium Health to provide valuable real-time tracking and monitoring insights into COVID-19 vaccine conditions as part of mass vaccination events taking place across North Carolina, including at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Through its Sensitech business, Carrier is supporting several sites administering hundreds of vaccine doses per day.
Carrier is supplying the healthcare system with next-generation IoT supply chain monitoring devices from Sensitech to track vaccine shipments across the state, as well as a fixed temperature monitoring system to track vaccines stored at Bank of America stadium. Carrier is committed to providing the necessary support for mass vaccination centers, and to safely store and monitor large quantities of vaccines.
“We are pleased our advanced cold chain technology solutions can assist organizations to reduce the risk of vaccine temperature excursions or loss,” said David Appel, President, Refrigeration, Carrier. “This collaboration demonstrates how our real-time IoT solutions can help connect the dots across the cold chain by delivering actionable data in the moment and further offering predictive analytics to support data-driven decisions.”
