Carrier Transicold to Showcase EverFRESH and Lynx Fleet for End-To-End Cold Chain Control and Visibility at Fruit Logistica

Carrier Transicold will again be meeting customers face-to-face at Fruit Logistica 2022, taking place at Messe Berlin, Germany, from April 5-7.

Customers can visit booth D-13 in Hall 26 to learn more about the benefits of EverFRESH, the only active Controlled Atmosphere (CA) technology that can inject carbon dioxide (CO2) on demand throughout a shipping container’s voyage. This enables CO2 levels to be increased as needed throughout the refrigerated container’s journey and manage the balance of oxygen (O2) and CO2 levels to slow down the natural respiration of fruit, with the introduction of nitrogen.

“This unique feature of our EverFRESH CA system is especially beneficial to low-respiring fruit such as blueberries, cherries and grapes. By having a system that maintains optimum levels of CO2 and O2 in transit, the fruit remains in premium condition until it reaches the consumer. With the on-demand CO2 injection option, EverFRESH extends the transit life of perishables despite unexpected situations such as extended dwell times at ports,” said Willy Yeo, Director, Sales EMEA and Marketing, Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold.

Carrier Transicold will also highlight Lynx Fleet, its unique telematics solution that allows users to:

  • Monitor connected refrigeration systems worldwide, while providing vital information through a centralized data platform with advanced IoT analytics, machine learning and various big data technologies built into this platform.

Protect their cargo and provide safety and reassurance to cargo owners because of tools like Carrier’s-exclusive reefer health index, which delivers real-time visibility and insights throughout the cargo’s entire journey.

“Carrier Transicold’s vision is for Lynx Fleet to provide end-to-end connected cold chain visibility that reduces both cost and wastage across the network. The objective is to improve the efficiency and sustainability in transporting perishables backed by intelligent data-driven decisions. This vision falls in line with our goal of ensuring the transport and delivery of foods and medicines to people in every corner of the world,” said Campbell Brooke, General Manager, Telematics, Global Container Refrigeration, Carrier Transicold.
