FreezPak Logistics has opened a new 272,000-square-foot cold storage facility in Jacksonville, Florida, expanding its national network of temperature-controlled logistics hubs. The site strengthens FreezPak’s presence in the Southeast and supports the company’s strategy to connect key U.S. port cities with a fully integrated cold chain infrastructure.
The Jacksonville facility includes over 50,000 pallet positions for frozen and refrigerated goods and features 32 dock doors. It offers a full range of services, including storage, distribution, transportation, and cold chain management. Its proximity to Jacksonville Port (JAXPORT) allows FreezPak to enhance import/export capabilities for food, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive products.
FreezPak now operates 14 facilities nationwide. The Jacksonville location follows recent developments in Los Angeles and anticipates an upcoming site in Norfolk, Virginia.
“Jacksonville is a critical link in our national expansion plan, enabling us to provide our customers with faster, more reliable service in the Southeast,” said David Saoud, Co-CEO of FreezPak Logistics.
Founded in 2001, FreezPak Logistics provides 4PL services for frozen, cooler, and dry storage. Facility development is led by Saoud Development, the company’s real estate arm established in 2020 to support its long-term growth.
