The event was held at the Ricoh Arena and featured many of the major names within the industry, including fellow winners Iceland, Yearsley’s, McCulla, Arla and Chiltern.
The judges said the award for Refrigerated Courier of the Year was “a hard fought category with high quality operators vying for the honours, but with the substantial number of quality nominations received from customers there could only be one winner this year.”
Fresh won the award in 2013 when the company operated ten vehicles out of a single site in Long Eaton, Nottingham. The company has since grown now running 40 vehicles out of Derby, Wembley and Manchester, with two refrigerated warehouses.
Alan White, managing director, Fresh Logistics said: “An accolade of this stature is a huge honour, especially as it is generously voted for by our customers. Winning the award for the third time shows that not only is Fresh Logistics the best in class and industry, it shows that we are extremely consistent too. This gives us a great foundation to build the business further and ensure we stay ahead of the competition.”
