GCCA announce its newest regional office in Cape Town, South Africa
As part of its expanding global footprint, The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) is proud to announce its newest regional office in Cape Town, South Africa. This location enriches GCCA’s worldwide efforts to strengthen and develop the global temperature-controlled supply chain.

“With the South African cold chain markets maturing, we are pleased provide opportunities for industry experts to come together and exchange information and best practices,” says GCCA President and CEO Corey Rosenbusch, CAE, IOM. “Through its new regional offices, GCCA will facilitate connections and provide member companies with the resources they need to grow their businesses.

Lizelle van der Berg has been named GCCA’s South Africa Director. Her previous experience includes customer development and client services for logistics companies. “I’m excited to be representing GCCA in South Africa, where cold chain capacity is growing and strengthening.” Specifically, GCCA works throughout the region to strengthen the cold chain and maintain product integrity and quality between rural areas and more populous cities.

GCCA also has regional offices in Europe, Latin America, and, in January 2018, opened an office in Brazil in partnership with Associação Brasileira de Armazenagem Frigorificada (ABIAF).

“Already, in Brazil, we’ve had productive meetings with government representatives on behalf of the cold chain industry,” says GCCA Brazil Director Isabela Perazza, whose previous experience includes sales and relationship management.
