The CoolPall Flex system is a unique, customizable range of temperature controlled shippers. It offers optimized solutions and high-performance passive thermal protection for the global transportation of payloads for pharmaceutical and life sciences applications.

"Pharmaceutical manufacturers are in the business of making life-saving and life-sustaining medications, not developing logistics systems," says Kevin Lawler, vice president of worldwide sales. "The CoolPall Flex system is one of the most configurable single-use bulk shippers on the market. It’s available in three height options and two base footprint options, with a capacity range of 150L – 757L. CoolPall Flex also offers water-based or phase change material (PCM) coolants, as well as EPS or VIP insulation variants. Complete assembly based on common components in less than two minutes gives users the flexibility they need for their shipments."

Additionally, Lawler will present at a breakout session on Wednesday, September 5 titled, “Different Models of Acquisition for Reusable Temperature Controlled Shippers: Dedicated versus Transactional Rental Units.” The session will examine the total cost of ownership for owned and leased shipper fleets for manufacturers.

"A great deal of variables must be taken into account when developing a temperature controlled shipper strategy," says Lawler. "I will share information with pharmaceutical supply chain professionals on the variables that have the greatest effect on their total cost of ownership."
