DataCool launches Missouri cooling platform for AI data centers

DataCool, a division of JohnsonMarCraft HVAC Products, has launched its Alpine, Glacier and Kodiak product lines, a next-generation cooling platform for AI, cloud and high-density data center environments in the US state of Missouri. The company said the systems are designed to provide scalable, configurable cooling for applications ranging from edge deployments to hyperscale facilities.

According to DataCool, the new systems support an operating range from 2,000 to 100,000 CFM (approx. 3,400 to 169,900 m3/h) and up to 300 tons of cooling capacity (approx. 1,055 kW). The company said this allows customers to use a single platform across multiple facility types and sizes.

The systems are designed for indoor and outdoor applications. Standard ECM fans and configurable chilled water (CW) or direct expansion (DX) coils are included, while filtration options range from single-stage to dual-stage MERV 8–16.

DataCool said factory-installed controls options include standalone DDC systems or pre-integrated third-party controls for building management system compatibility. The company also said integral piping, configurable hydronic designs and a single-point 460/3 electrical connection are intended to reduce installation complexity and speed deployment.

“The rise of AI and high-performance computing is fundamentally changing the way data centers are designed and operated,” said Matt Polizzi, Vice President at DataCool. “With Alpine, Glacier, and Kodiak, we’ve developed a platform that gives our customers the flexibility and performance they need to stay ahead of those demands without adding unnecessary complexity.”
