BSRIA appoints Nicola Fallowfield-Smith as Business Manager for Worldwide Market Intelligence

BSRIA Worldwide Market Intelligence has been providing specialist market intelligence services for over 30 years. WMI provides in-depth understanding of global HVAC, refrigeration and building controls markets and supports organisations in developing their strategic responses to technology trends and quickly evolving markets.

Nicola, a Chartered Engineer with a Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering, brings a wealth of technical expertise to the team, along with years of experience in creating client value through the fostering of strong relationships and shared insight.

Nicola replaces Anette Meyer-Holley who will be retiring after nearly 30 years as WMI Business Manager.

Anette Meyer Holley, retiring WMI Business Manager, said, “A key strength of BSRIA WMI is the technical expertise we apply throughout our unique market research methodology: We don’t just provide the numbers, we provide strategic market insight gained from an unparalleled understanding of the technical context behind the trends. Nicola, with her extensive technical background, will take this strength to new levels of client value.”

Krystyna Dawson, BSRIA Commercial Director, said, “BSRIA has been very privileged to have a highly experienced, influential, and respected leader at the helm of its prominent market intelligence division. This is with great pleasure that I welcome Nicola Fallowfield-Smith to pick up the WMI leadership baton. Her expertise and experience will help build on existing WMI strengths while transitioning to new knowledge areas and services.”

Nicola Fallowfield-Smith said, “I am extremely excited to join BSRIA at a time when we are seeing huge changes impacting markets and buildings on a global scale. I have a particular interest in environmental issues and will work with the WMI team to address challenges that the climate change fight and adaptations pose to building stakeholders worldwide.”
