CAREL received a Top Product of the Year Award from the Environmental Leader

CAREL received a Top Product of the Year Award from the Environmental Leader. Heez is considered by judges as an exemplary product.

One judge said of Heez “This product adds features that are not currently on the market to allow for “smart” response of refrigeration equipment to either maintain a steady-state or instantly change to pull-down the temperature. The rotary DC inverter technology is likely to be a quick response and low energy device in comparison to AC options”.

Another added, “Heez has a personal consumer benefit for point of purchase consumption items to be at a “ready to consume” temperature without requiring full-time mass energy consumption. I would see this as helpful at convenience stores, rest areas or other high-use areas that may have traffic patterns that can vary greatly. The real-time technology interface is the amazing sales and use feature that is the real game changer in this submission, allowing quick response to a piece of equipment needing service”.

The Environmental Leader and Energy Manager Today Product & Project Awards is a program recognizing excellence in products and services that provide companies with energy and environmental benefits, or in projects implemented by companies that improved environmental or energy management and increased the bottom line.

Heez - Top Product Of The Year
Heez is CAREL solution for refrigerated merchandisers that exploits the continuous modulation of variable-capacity rotary compressors (DC inverter), combined with an advanced control system that includes self-adaptive and machine learning algorithms. With Heez, CAREL confirms the accessibility of DC Inverter technology in the refrigerated merchandiser segment, and lays the foundations for the extension of food retail and food service applications to even lower temperatures and higher capacities. The Heez solution for high efficiency plug-in units therefore expands the field of application by making the adoption of new technologies more competitive, so as to comply with new energy and environmental regulations coming into force around the world.
