DSI Freezing Solutions A/S to open subsidiary in the US

One of the world market leader in plate freezing solutions and handling, DSI Freezing Solutions A/S, expands and opens subsidiary in Kansas City to be closer to their American customers.
To support the company’s position as international market leader, DSI Freezing Solutions has engaged in a process of preparing for international growth. The company takes another step in this direction with the announcement of the 2019-opening of an American subsidiary in Kansas.
The aim is to provide the company’s American customer base with better and faster service and with solutions optimized specifically for the American market.
- We insist on delivering high-quality solutions. And being close to our customers allow us to provide better service and tailormade solutions for each customer. At the same time, the opening of an American subsidiary also allows us to provide our customers better value for money, says Lars Priess, CEO at DSI Freezing Solutions A/S.
The opening of a subsidiary in Kansas will not only improve the company’s customer service, it will also eliminate price-raising intermediaries and ensure a cost competitive pricing on plate freezing and handling solutions on the North American market.
As such, the opening underlines the company’s strategic ambitions of being a strong global partner for customers across the globe. A partner that provides even better service – in terms of an increased understanding of key customer application areas as well as enhanced global customer proximity.
- We have started recruiting, and we look very much forward to the opening in Kansas City. We strongly believe this is the best way to increase equipment availability, operational efficiency and overall customer experience for our present and future customers in the US, says Lars Priess, CEO at DSI Freezing Solutions A/S.
Ambitious future plans
DSI Freezing Solutions’ more than 7000 references across the globe speaks for itself. However during 2017 and 2018, the company took significant steps to further strengthen the position as the global market leader within plate freezing and handling solutions. This included the acquisition of Erlinord, a new strategy with a clear customer focus and a new brand identity - and as of 2019 it also includes the expansion to the North American market.
