Dunham-Bush Selects Chemours Opteon XP10

Opteon XP10 (R-513A), a Chemours low global warming potential refrigerant, has been selected by Dunham-Bush for use in its DCLCG series of high-efficiency, direct-driven VFD water-cooled centrifugal chillers, in the Asia Pacific market. As an azeotropic, nonflammable replacement for HFC-134a, Chemours Opteon XP10 offers more than 55 percent lower GWP, while maintaining comparable properties and performance.

Dunham-Bush is featuring its new high efficiency DCLCG chiller designed for Opteon XP10 in its exhibit at the China Refrigeration Show in Shanghai, China, in April. DB sources said that the new chiller “offers high efficiency, energy savings, high reliability and oil-free design for convenient maintenance for a wide range of applications.”

The Opteon portfolio of fluorochemicals from Chemours were developed to help meet increasingly stringent global regulations while generally maintaining or improving performance compared to the products they replace.
