Embraco presents its solutions at the World’s First Virtual Trade Show for Natural Refrigerants

Embraco, a brand in the Nidec Global Appliance portfolio, will be attending on September 1st and 22, the World’s First Global Virtual Trade Show for Natural Refrigerants, organized by shecco, together with more than 70 other exhibitors. The event, which was adapted due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, will take place over a 24-hour period, starting at 10am CEST (Central Europe Summer Time) through an interactive virtual platform and free to attend.

In addition to virtually visiting the Trade Show, the audience will be able to interact with avatars that will host the visitors at Embraco’s online booth, ready to clarify doubts on our solutions and answer questions on future refrigeration trends. The attendees can also watch videos and download leaflets with product description and technical information, as well as participate in a webinar about Embraco Variable Speed solutions with Smart Drop-in feature, that will be presented on September 1st, at 3 pm CEST, by Michel Moreira, Senior Sales Manager from Nidec Global Appliance.

Embraco combines climate-friendly technologies with high performance, innovation and energy efficiency. And the portfolio that will be displayed are future proof solutions for food retail and food service, complying with the cold chains need and international regulations.

FMF line-up for supermarkets: with variable speed, it is the most efficient compressor for the commercial segment in the market, ideal for applications requiring high temperature stability, reliability and low noise. It is bivolt, operating at rated voltages of 110V and 220V, and works in a wide rpm range. The variable speed technology keeps the temperature stable by modulating the capacity, according to the application demand. In addition, it operates with R290 natural refrigerant, which is an environmentally friendly solution and that adds energy efficiency gains.

EMC for beverage coolers, vending machines, under-counters and reach-ins: as part of the EM family, it’s one of the world’s most efficient single-speed compressors and that applies R290 – with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and negligible Global Warming Potential (GWP). EMC features a smaller platform, with an extended cooling capacity that can replace larger compressors, freeing up more internal space for refrigerators.

EH for ice makers: it’s a recent launch that applies R290, featuring a new platform with an extended cooling capacity, suitable for 450L undercounter ice makers with capacity up to 90kg/day or 650L horizontal freezer cabinets, making it even more responsive to customer needs.

Embraco Fixed Speed compressors X Generation: extended cooling capacity for food retail and food service

NEX for display cases and professional kitchens: this new platform to be premiered on this trade show, is the fourth generation after the NE, NEK and NEU series.  This family is renowned for it´s robustness and low noise, and will now feature improvements in energy efficiency of up to 10% and higher cooling capacity with the extension of the maximum displacement from 18 to 21cc. This platform will also be approved for natural refrigerant R290 and HFCs. It is designed for food retail and, specially, food service, in applications such as professional kitchen reach-ins, under counter and display cases.

NTX for ice machines and multi deck reach ins: is a next generation of the NT series, developed to address the increasing demand for high energy efficiency and lower noise levels for large cooling capacity compressors for commercial refrigeration equipment. With a line up of models that is approved for higher refrigerant charge and still under PED category 1, NTX is developed for applications that demand robust cooling such as multideck reach ins and ice machines.

NJX for cold rooms: is a new and extended generation of the NJ series, reaching up to 2 Hp on a single piston compressor. This product stands out for its high efficiency, low noise, robustness and reliability,  with a compact and competitive design, appropriate for a full range of applications. This capacity extension up to 2 Hp is an improvement up to 50% in comparison to the current solutions available in the market and is the right solution for several commercial applications that need the extended cooling capacity, such as milk coolers, ice cream makers and cold rooms. Available in R290 and low GWP transitory refrigerant options, it’s an intelligent solution that meets the standards required by European legislation on Ecodesign and energy labels.

And more cooling solutions for Natural Refrigerants:

Condensing Units: Embraco also has in its portfolio a full range of Condensing Units for food retail, food service and other unique applications. Featured for its wide range of products from 1/12 up to 10Hp in multiple refrigerants, this line up also delivers high efficiency and reliability due to the high quality Embraco components. Being an affordable and modular option for remote systems, serving applications such as cold rooms, milk tanks, reach in cabinets and others. Embraco´s Condensing units can be fully equipped with a liquid line, filter dryer, liquid receiver and valves, eliminating the need for the installer or manufacturer to customize it later. The new generation of Condensing units offer higher cooling capacity, extending the range up to 10Hp for larger applications and with lower noise and higher efficiency features, ready to comply with new European regulations.

Plug n’ Cool:  a complete self-contained solution designed for reach-in applications in food retail, which reduces the store’s energy consumption on refrigeration by more than 30%, while complying with the EU legislation for natural refrigerant usage (R290). Embraco has also developed a simplified installation process with the Plug n’ Cool modular concept, increasing the flexibility of the store’s architecture. The hallmark of this particular cooling solution is that it provides a “plug and play” refrigeration option that accelerates the installation process by 70%, and can replace the traditional machine room, avoiding refrigerant leakage and saving space in the cabinet and store. The solution also delivers energy savings while significantly reducing environmental impact, due to its use of R290 natural refrigerant, while contributing to a high cost-efficiency ratio – a win-win scenario for the entire refrigeration chain.
