The European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE) will celebrate its 25th anniversary alongside its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 2025 at COMET Louise in Brussels. The event will bring together key stakeholders from the refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pump (RACHP) sector to reflect on the association’s achievements and discuss the policy challenges ahead.
Founded in 2000, EPEE represents the interests of over 50 companies and national associations involved in heating and cooling technologies across Europe. The association advocates for sustainable, energy-efficient solutions and plays a central role in shaping EU policies on F-gases, energy efficiency, and climate neutrality.
The 2025 AGM will feature two expert panels focused on the competitiveness of the European RACHP sector and the ongoing challenges it faces. These include energy security, electrification, grid stability, affordability, and workforce skills. High-level speakers will contribute to discussions on how the industry can adapt and innovate in response to these pressures.
Following the symposium, EPEE will host a cocktail and dinner reception featuring anniversary-themed activities to mark the milestone with its members and partners.
"After 25 years of collaboration and advocacy, we look forward to celebrating our journey and continuing to shape the future of sustainable cooling and heating in Europe," said EPEE Director General Russel Patten.
