Hoshizaki America has promoted Omar Marrero to Regional Sales Director for the Southeast Region. Marrero, who has been with the company for 20 years, brings extensive industry experience and leadership to his new role.
Throughout his tenure at Hoshizaki, Marrero has held various positions, including Sales Manager, DC Vice President, and Area Sales Manager. Before joining the company, he owned and operated a refrigeration export business and a walk-in cooler manufacturing company for a decade. His background provides him with a strong foundation in sales strategy and customer relations.
“Omar’s extensive industry knowledge, leadership experience, and dedication to our customers make him the perfect choice to lead the Southeast sales team,” said Scott Meyer, Vice President of Regional Sales at Hoshizaki America.
Marrero holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida International University, with majors in Finance and International Business.
In his new position, he will focus on strengthening customer partnerships, expanding the company’s market presence, and maintaining the high level of service associated with Hoshizaki America.
