Livio Mazzarella elected as REHVA President, new board appointed

REHVA has announced the election of a new President and Vice-Presidents during its recent General Assembly. Livio Mazzarella has been appointed as President of REHVA for a three-year term.

Mazzarella has been actively involved in REHVA for over 15 years and was elected to the Board in 2022 as a Vice-President. His long-standing engagement with the organization includes various roles supporting REHVA’s mission in advancing HVAC and building services engineering across Europe.

Alongside the new presidency, a new board of Vice-Presidents has also been elected. The newly appointed Vice-Presidents are Jarek Kurnitski, Risto Kosonen, Pedro Vicente-Quiles, Dr. Kemal Gani Bayraktar, Johann Zirngibl, and Harm Valk. Each of them brings experience from their national associations and technical expertise within the HVAC sector.

REHVA stated that these appointments mark a new phase for the federation as it continues its work on energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and sustainable building technologies in Europe.
