In order to strengthen its presence in the Lyon region and enhance its customer service, Carrier Transicold France opened a new service centre in Corbas, replacing the Venissieux service centre. The new service centre is strategically located in the city of Lyon, home to the Lyon agro-food market, and is accessible from the Rocade Est, entrances 13 and 14 for customer convenience. The new facility's 1,500 square meter workshop is equipped with a temperature pull-down testing facility to certify the refrigeration capacity of Carrier Transicold units in accordance with Agreement Transports Périssables (ATP) regulations. This facility is focused on quality service and employee safety with five service bays equipped with life lines that fasten to technicians to prevent falling.

Additionally, customers have access to Carrier Transicold's OneCALLTM technical hotline, available in 117 languages, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help direct customers to the nearest service centre.

The Corbas facility includes a well-stocked regional spare parts warehouse for shipments and over-the-counter sales. Technicians are regularly trained and certified by Carrier Transicold France, as more than 4,000 training hours are invested per technician with 200 technicians educated each year. There are 13 technicians at the Corbas service centre, each with refrigeration, diesel mechanics and electrical expertise to properly maintain transport refrigeration units.
The Corbas service centre team works together to meet customer expectations for optimal quality mounting, troubleshooting and repair, ensuring operational efficiency of refrigeration units and cold chain continuity. The goal is to help ensure customers' goods are transported on time at controlled temperatures and in optimal condition to the end customer.
