Petro-Canada Lubricants Takes Over Management of Suniso Brand

Petro-Canada Lubricants, an HF Sinclair brand, has assumed management of the globally recognized Suniso brand from Sonneborn. Starting September 2024, Petro-Canada Lubricants will market and distribute Suniso refrigeration fluids exclusively through an expanding network of authorized distributors and strategic partners worldwide.

Suniso, known for its high-quality refrigeration fluids, caters to the evolving needs of modern refrigeration systems and advancements in lubricating base oil technology. Petro-Canada Lubricants will continue offering the highly-refined mineral Suniso GS fluids and the full synthetic Suniso SL fluids, which have set industry standards for decades.

“The Suniso brand has been supplying world-leading refrigeration fluids for more than 90 years, and we’re delighted that Petro-Canada Lubricants will be continuing that legacy,” said Matt Joyce, Senior Vice President, Lubricants & Specialties at HF Sinclair. “Suniso refrigeration fluids have earned the loyalty of customers around the world, providing exceptional stability, maximizing service life, and delivering trouble-free performance for refrigerant compressors.”

The network of authorized distributors will enhance the availability and reliability of Suniso products, aiming to ensure end users receive the trusted, high-quality product they rely on. Customers are encouraged to visit the Petro-Canada Lubricants website for updates on the distribution network and product availability.

In addition to Suniso, Petro-Canada Lubricants will also market its complementary line of REFLO refrigeration fluids, designed for commercial refrigeration systems. This strategic move will further cement the brand's commitment to providing comprehensive solutions for the refrigeration industry.
