Samsung México Opens Its First Training Center for Air Conditioning Systems in Monterrey

Samsung México has inaugurated its Major Service Center in Santa Catarina, Monterrey, a specialized facility aimed at providing training and service for air conditioning systems (SAC). This new center is designed to enhance technical knowledge among collaborators, clients, and business partners through ongoing training, certifications, and comprehensive support for Samsung products.

Specialized Training and Certification

The center features an air conditioning training academy where technicians can keep up to date with the latest technologies. It also offers platforms for learning about the SmartThings ecosystem, enabling seamless connectivity between various Samsung devices.

The key areas of training include:

  • Certification in commercial (SAC) and residential (RAC) air conditioning systems.
  • Training on the proper handling of R-32 refrigerant, a more environmentally friendly alternative.
  • Mastery of VRF system selection software for commercial and advanced design projects.
  • Online content and guides for customers, accessible anytime.
  • Education on control and automation solutions.

Comprehensive Service and Eco-Friendly Recycling Program

In addition to training, the Major Service Center provides repair and installation services for a wide range of appliances, including air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, and televisions.

A standout initiative is the Eco Recicla program, which promotes the responsible recycling of old air conditioning units. Samsung handles the entire process - from uninstalling the customer’s current unit to installing the new one and recycling the old equipment.

Regional Warehouse and One-Stop Service

The center also serves as a regional warehouse, ensuring product availability and improving logistics. Samsung’s One-Stop Service combines product delivery and installation in a single visit. After a successful pilot program in Mexico City, this service is now expanding to Monterrey.

Showroom for Innovation and Technology

Visitors can explore the latest Samsung innovations in the center’s showroom, which features cutting-edge devices and solutions with artificial intelligence. Samsung’s residential WindFree air conditioning systems and commercial VRF and CAC systems offer Digital Inverter technology, which improves energy efficiency while reducing environmental impact.

Jay Kim, leader of the Consumer Electronics division at Samsung México, highlighted the importance of the new center:
"We are proud to announce the opening of our Specialized Training Center for Air Conditioning Systems. With state-of-the-art facilities and a robust training program, we are committed to ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction."

Javier Moreno, Business Director of Air Conditioning Systems at Samsung México, emphasized the company's focus on sustainability and user comfort:
"We offer innovative solutions like our air conditioning systems with Digital Inverter technology, which maximize energy efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and adapt to the needs of both residential and commercial users."

With this new training and service center, Samsung México reinforces its commitment to providing innovative and sustainable solutions that combine comfort, advanced technology, and environmental responsibility.
