Solar-Log and Viessmann enter into a strategic cooperation

Solar-Log GmbH, a manufacturer of energy management systems, and Viessmann Climate Solutions SE, one of the providers of sustainable climate and energy solutions, have announced their strategic cooperation in the area of photovoltaic system monitoring. This means that operators of photovoltaic systems with inverters not from the family business’s portfolio can now seamlessly integrate their solar power generation into Viessmann’s holistic energy solutions for electricity, heat and mobility. They benefit from a complete overview of their power generation and a higher solar yield by avoiding feed-in limitations, while also being able to maximize their use of self-generated electricity through the optimal interaction of heat pump, ventilation system and wallbox.

Solar-Log, based in Geislingen-Binsdorf in Baden-Württemberg, is one of the pioneers and leading manufacturers for photovoltaic system monitoring, smart energy and feed-in management. The company’s products and services are used in over 140 countries worldwide. For Viessmann, the cooperation offers an opportunity to integrate almost all commercially available inverters into its own Viessmann One Base system world, making an important contribution to the efficient inclusion of self-generated electricity in the home energy supply.

“We are happy to have found an extremely competent partner in Solar-Log for the increasingly important area of intelligent energy management for photovoltaic systems,” explains Dr. Markus Klausner, Chief Technology Officer of Viessmann Climate Solutions SE.

Holger Schroth, Chief Product Officer Solar-Log GmbH continues: “Get the best out of your PV plant! This also holds true for our strategic cooperation with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of air conditioning solutions. The cooperation is a further step towards successfully advancing the energy transition and moving into a clean future, thus actively developing our corporate motto – We create connections – with solutions and partners.”
