The Epta Group Acquires Libre Sp. Z O.O. Sp.K.

Epta SpA has consolidated its presence in Central Europe through the acquisition of Libre Sp. z o.o. Sp.K. in Poland, a company specialized in distribution, installation  and after sales  for commercial refrigeration equipment.  Libre is also an important partner for international retailers and local chains. This operation is in line with the Group’s strategy to guarantee a direct presence in countries with high growth potential (real GDP growth in Poland 3-4% in the 2014-16 period), maximizing synergies. Thanks to the acquisition of Libre, the Group will be able now to propose turnkey solutions, directly offering control of  planning, system engineering, installation and after-sales service. Marco Nocivelli, Epta’s Chairman and CEO, declared: “We are proud to welcome Libreto our Group. This acquisition confirms our interest in Central and Eastern Europe, where we are already present with a well known technical and commercial premises in Budapest, Hungary, allowing us to pursue solid development in this area. Poland is a very attractive market with great development opportunities both for the Epta Group as well as for international retailers already present in the country. The retailing system is already well established and we believe that medium and independent retailers will have opportunities in the future as well. This process will grow interest and will increase the need for technological innovations,  new design,  quality and low-environmental-impact products, that can be provided by our brand’s solutions.” The closing has already been completed and became effective on 31st  August 2017.
