The US National Committee of the International Institute of Refrigeration (USNC/IIR) has appointed a new bureau following its February 2025 meeting. The newly elected officers will lead the committee’s activities for the 2024-2028 period, supporting national and international efforts in refrigeration, air conditioning, and cryogenics.
The USNC/IIR, originally established in 1956/57, plays a key role in advising government bodies, promoting research, and enhancing international cooperation in refrigeration-related fields. The newly elected officers are:

The committee's objectives include ensuring effective US participation in the IIR, advising stakeholders on refrigeration science and technology, fostering research and innovation, and facilitating international cooperation, particularly with developing countries.
