Voting Open for IOR Board of Trustees Elections

The Institute of Refrigeration (IOR) has opened voting for the Board of Trustees Elections. This year's election features three candidates vying for two vacancies:

  • Craig Girdlestone FInstR
  • Christopher Griffiths MInstR
  • Amy Richardson MInstR

Eligible members, including Members, Fellows, Associates, and Technicians, should have received an email with a voting code from mi-voice, the company managing the election. If you have not received your code or have any questions, contact mi-voice at +44 (0)23 8076 3987 or email support@mi-voice.com.

Voting will close at noon on 29th October 2024, with results announced at the AGM.

Candidate Overviews:

Craig Girdlestone FInstR

With over 20 years of involvement in the IOR and a 30-year career in refrigeration, Craig aims to support the IOR by ensuring compliance and contributing to future developments. He is known for his advocacy in membership growth and has been integral to the Service Engineers Section and the Hampshire Refrigeration Society.

Christopher Griffiths MInstR

Christopher has progressed from service roles to design, management, and consulting over his career. With ten years in the IOR, he is committed to enhancing industry standards and education. He proposes updating the technical library and providing engineers with unbiased insights.

Amy Richardson MInstR

Amy is enthusiastic about advancing the industry toward sustainability and net zero. She promotes women in the industry through her involvement with the IOR Women in RACHP committee and WES. With a background as a Refrigeration Engineer and experience in designing air-to-air heat pumps and VRF systems, Amy aims to offer practical solutions and contribute to the industry's strategic direction.
