SPINchiller4 PL (WSAN-YSC4 PL) series is the new air cooled polyvalent heat pump for outdoor installation, with R32 refrigerant, and Multiscroll technology.
The WSAN-YSC4 PL series is the ideal solution to meet the simultaneous needs of hot and chilled water in four-pipe systems (4T configuration).
It is available in Excellence energy version (EXC) which offers high efficiency in all operating modes: SEER up to 4.94 and SCOP up to 4.01, with a capacity range from 225 up to 664 kW.

Low environmental impact solution
The use of R32 refrigerant, with a low GWP (Global Warming Potential = 675), guarantees an environmental impact that is one third compared to traditional R-410A refrigerant (GWP = 2088).

The WSAN-YSC4 PL series offers 2 acoustic levels, without changing the unit dimensions:
- Acoustic configuration with compressor soundproofing (SC): basic version

Maximum adaptability
Up to 6 regulation capacity steps, an hot water production up to +55°C and a wide operating range in heating down to -15°C of external air temperature, are able to satisfy the requirement of multiple operating conditions.
Many options and accessories are available to suit the needs of each plant (such as: integrated hydronic assemblies).
Protection and maximum durability
All the components of the refrigeration circuit are protected from atmospheric agents for maximum duration over time. The technical compartment has been designed to minimize the sound impact thanks to the specific soundproofing.
Defrosting smart management
The regulation of the unit in winter period optimizes the defrost cycles to satisfy the system cooling request, avoiding changes in operation and loss of efficiency, furthermore the hydrophilic treatment applied on the coils facilitates the drainage of water making the defrosting cycles more effective.

The WSAN-YSC4 PL series complies with the most stringent requirements of the Commission Regulation 2281:2016 in force from January 2021.
Perfect for LEED
The WSAN-YSC4 PL series satisfy prerequisites 2 and 3 of Energy and Environment thematic area. Furthermore, they match the parameters of Credit 4 that allows to achieve 2 points (Leed 2009). The correlated data are included in the technical bulletin.
