SolarEast has announced the global launch of its new R290-based heating and cooling system, aimed at residential and commercial applications. The system was introduced at ISH 2025 and is positioned to meet increasing international demand for climate-compliant, energy-efficient solutions.
The QuietEdge R290 Heat Pump operates with natural refrigerant R290 and features full DC inverter technology. According to the company, the unit is designed for quiet performance with sound levels as low as 35 decibels, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as homes, schools, and hospitals. It includes integrated 5G/2.4G Wi-Fi for remote monitoring, predictive maintenance alerts, and system control via a smart interface.
The product supports a wide capacity range, from 4 kW to 100 kW, and offers cascade configurations for continuous operation during maintenance. The modular design allows for integration across single-family homes, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. The exterior casing is designed for visual integration with modern architectural styles.
SolarEast reports that the system is compatible with solar photovoltaic panels and energy storage systems, allowing for enhanced use of renewable energy. This enables self-generated electricity to be used directly by the heat pump and supports energy management through smart load balancing.
Over 85% of the system's components are produced in-house, including evaporators, condensers, copper piping, and control boards. Quality control measures include helium and halogen leak detection and assembly on explosion-proof production lines.
"At SolarEast, we believe in accelerating the global shift toward cleaner energy," said the company’s CEO. "This R290 system is not just a product launch—it's our commitment to empowering global communities with sustainable, future-proof heating technologies that support climate goals and unlock real economic benefits through policy incentives."
