G-line is an expansion of Gastro product options in grade 304 steel with a series of products in grade 201 steel – making them more economic.
The new line consist of both upright cabinets, cooling counters, freezing counters, pizza counters and saladettes. All cabinets are with ECO-friendly refrigerant.
Some of the models are with fully automatic ventilated cooling, others with fan assisted cooling. All are with automatic defrost, adjustable shelves and feet.
Focus has been to develop an economic alternative and still a quality cabinet for customers, who can use stainless steel grade 201 instead of higher stainless grades such as 304.
SS201 has a higher content of manganese and lower content nickel and chrome compared to SS304, which makes SS201 harder and more “scratch proof” but also difficult to weld.
The advantage of SS304 is that the higher chrome content makes it more corrosion resistant, but also more expensive.
Both types are non-magnetic austenitic grades and have very similar appearance.
