Thermocold is set to introduce new enhancements to its QUATTRO EA (R454B) product line in the coming weeks, marking a significant advancement in its 4-pipe units featuring the low Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerant.
The updated product family will offer heating capacities ranging from 85 to 150 kW, ensuring all models are equipped with two circuits and four scroll compressors, allowing for a minimum of four capacity steps. The QUATTRO EA units will incorporate the Thermocold Adaptive Refrigerant System (TARS) and the SymbioTM800 unit controller, enhancing system performance and monitoring capabilities.
These units are designed to deliver high efficiency, with a total efficiency ratio (TER) of up to 8.4 and a coefficient of performance (COP) up to 3.5. The integration of EC fans and an extended heating operating map, capable of +47°C at -5°C of outdoor air temperature, underpins the range's enhanced functionality.
