2020 IIAR Online Conference & Virtual Expo

The Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent cancellation of your IIAR’s annual conference has impacted all of us in multiple ways and has created the need to come up with a new and different way to deliver as much value as possible to conference attendees and exhibitors. To that end the IIAR Executive Committee and Staff have been working hard on putting together the first-of-its-kind IIAR Online Conference & Virtual Expo.

Using today’s technologies will allow us to offer the content and provide the education and PDH credits that many conference attendees need to justify their participation in the event. The Online Conference can offer significant benefits to those companies that use the annual conference as a platform to market their products and services.  It will also be designed to offer benefits that could not be provided in the conference and will continue throughout the year.

The Online Conference will reside on the IIAR Website and include a number of new features and benefits for the Orlando Conference participants. Its services will include the application of the IIAR Learning Management System, The Academy of Natural Refrigerants certificate program and a new interactive IIAR Online Mall platform offering marketing services to the entire IIAR membership.

The virtual platform will be accessible through this link:  2020 Online Conference & Virtual Expo.

  • Just sign in to the IIAR website or directly through the 2020 Online platform with your IIAR username and password in order to access the live event sessions
  • Once you have signed in with your IIAR username and password, the site will validate that you are registered for the IIAR Conference
  • You will then be able to access the sections of the platform that your level of registration allows

At this point you are ready to select the live sessions you would like to attend.

  • Find the session you would like to attend and click on Details and then click on Register.
  • A join live event button will go live 30 minutes before the specified start time. You will also receive a registration email which will allow you to add the session to your email calendar.
  • You are now ready to attend the session at the appropriate date and time. Again, a Join Live Web Event button will go live 30 minutes before the specified start time of the session.
  • After a session has concluded, you will be given a PDH code through the chat box of the session.  You will also receive the code with a follow up email

Q&A - During each live session you will have the ability to ask questions and have them answered by the presenter

  • Just click on the Q&A tab toward the upper right hand of the screen
  • A prompt will appear to ask a question.  You may enter your question at any time of the presentation.  Names are optional.
  • Questions will be reviewed by a moderator before submission to presenter and visibility to audience
  • Questions will be read to the presenter at the end of the session.

If you do not already know your IIAR username and password, then you are able to retrieve both through the sign in prompt.  Just click on Forgot Username or Forgot Password directly under the Sign In button.  You will need the email address associated with your account to retrieve your username. You will need your username to reset your password.
If you have any questions or need help with your sign in please contact us at conference@iiar.org
