ATMOsphere Opens Nominations for ATMO Awards/Europe 2025

ATMOsphere has opened the nomination process for the ATMO Awards/Europe 2025, recognizing leadership in natural refrigerant-based HVAC&R technologies. The winners will be announced during the ATMOsphere Europe Summit 2025, taking place November 24–25 in Padova, Italy.

Awards will be presented in five categories: Best in Sector/Retail End User, Best in Sector/Industrial End User, Innovation of the Year/Refrigeration, Innovation of the Year/Heat Pumps, and Person of the Year.

Nominations are open to end users, manufacturers, academics, contractors, consultants, policymakers and other industry stakeholders. Self-nominations are permitted, and the deadline for submissions is October 29.

The Best in Sector awards will highlight retail and industrial companies implementing natural refrigerant systems in new builds or remodels. Evaluation criteria include energy and emissions reductions, system reproducibility, return on investment, and leadership in adopting natural refrigerants.

Innovation of the Year awards will recognize refrigeration and heat pump products based on their market impact, efficiency, scalability, user-friendliness, and commercial availability. Finalists will be announced ahead of the Summit, and attendees will vote for the winners on November 24.

The Person of the Year award will be given to an individual contributing significantly to the advancement of natural refrigerant technology in Europe. Eligible nominees include professionals from all areas of the HVAC&R sector.
