From November 20-22, the German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Association (DKV) conference attracted 565 delegates to the Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center in Dresden. Sponsored by Eurovent Certification, the event featured technical presentations, networking, and social gatherings to foster industry growth and collaboration.

The conference attracted a diverse group of participants, including academics, consulting engineers, trade press, manufacturers, and end users. The key themes focused on climate protection, refrigerants, energy efficiency, and the green transition, making it a vital forum for discussing the future challenges in refrigeration, air conditioning, cryogenics, and heat pump technology.

The event featured a comprehensive lecture program with 133 speakers. Among them was Eurovent Certification’s Business Development Manager, Tim Kroeger, who presented “Heat exchanger Technology Advancement and Market Status: A Review.” His session was well-received, generating numerous questions from the audience.

Recognized as the premier refrigeration event in Germany for the DACH region, the DKV convention offered extensive networking opportunities during breakout sessions and Thursday night’s main dinner. Eurovent Certification ensured its presence by sponsoring coffee breaks, emphasizing certified products throughout the event.

For attendees' partners, the conference included social activities such as a visit to the Dresdner “Frauenkirche” and technical excursions for students. The convention concluded with a tour of the “Residenzschloss Dresden” on Saturday morning.

Reflecting on the event, Tim Kroeger stated, “All in all, it is a ‘must see’ event on the refrigeration calendar and Eurovent Certification looks forward to participating again in 2025.”
