HVAC-R Market Leaders Gathered for a Better Market Surveillance

During the 27th Market Intelligence Committee, organized by Eurovent Market Intelligence (EMI), over 40 companies decided to look at the new HVAC-R trends closer.
The first decision was to monitor IT cooling units above 200 kW, as large data center projects become more and more important, and this trend has accelerated since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
They also decided to follow in more detail the development of refrigerants on the chiller and IT Cooling market, and thus better track the impact of the F-gas regulation on the European market.
Besides, manufacturers appreciated the more detailed and reliable information on the HVAC-R application areas, showing the new trends in the various market sectors (offices, commercial, leisure, industry, etc.). It was welcomed in these changing and uncertain times due to the pandemic.
During the committee, EMI also presented the performance of its data collections, highlighting the record number of 402 participants in 2021 which makes it the greatest statistics collection of the HVAC-R market around the globe.
The market intelligence committee is held twice a year and open to all EMI members. Save the date for the next market intelligence committee on 16 November 2021.
