Preparations for Chillventa 2022 are in full swing

Following the fantastic success of the European Heat Pump Summit this year, preparations for Chillventa are in full swing. “The European Heat Pump Summit has shown how important it is to meet one another in person again. Buoyed by this positive momentum, we are starting the 2022 round of Chillventa with a spring in our steps,” says Daniela Heinkel, Director of Chillventa and the European Heat Pump Summit at NürnbergMesse. The world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration technology will take place live on site in Nuremberg from 11 to 13 October 2022, when the international refrigeration, AC, ventilation and heat pump community will come together again to network in person, discover innovations, and discuss the latest trends and future developments. As usual, the event will kick off the day before the exhibition with the high-calibre Chillventa CONGRESS, which will deliver answers to the issues impacting the industry. Prospective exhibitors can already book their stands easily and conveniently online to be part of this highlight in the industry calendar.

Chillventa 2022 will again put the spotlight on refrigeration, AC, ventilation and heat pump technologies as well as insulation technology, C&I and automation. “Motivated by the fantastic feedback from speakers and delegates at the European Heat Pump Summit, we are now starting the intensive phase of preparations for Chillventa 2022. Personal interaction is now more important than ever, and the prospects are good. We are delighted that in October 2022, Chillventa will once again provide a barometer of the latest trends and a venue for outstanding knowledge transfer within the industry,” says Daniela Heinkel, Director of Chillventa and the European Heat Pump Summit at NürnbergMesse.

Highlights of Chillventa 2022

Alongside the extensive product range from prestigious exhibitors and major industry players, which includes countless innovations and covers the entire spectrum of the industry, Chillventa also offers an impressive and wide-ranging supporting programme where knowledge-sharing, networking and learning take centre-stage. The Chillventa CONGRESS, which starts the day before the exhibition, delivers insights at the highest professional level into issues affecting the industry. The various forums on the exhibition floors during Chillventa provide targeted information on innovations and trends, while interesting special presentations, guided tours, and walkabouts specifically for trainees and apprentices provide a fitting complement to the high calibre supporting programme at the world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration technology.

Key topics for 2022

At Chillventa, the exhibitors, CONGRESS programme and forums all provide answers to the questions affecting the various industry segments:

• How can the energy performance of systems be improved?
• How can refrigeration systems help facilitate the energy transition?
• What’s the latest in refrigerants?
• What’s happening with the “hybrid systems” trend?
• And a whole lot more!

Other key topics at Chillventa 2022 will be the circular economy and the cold chain in the pharmaceutical segment.

Review: European Heat Pump Summit 2021 a resounding success

The international heat pump community enjoyed two days of first-rate knowledge transfer about current market developments, R&D topics, and trends in heat pump applications. More than 260 experts from 26 different countries took part in the 7th European Heat Pump Summit – powered by Chillventa on 26 and 27 October 2021. They were able to enjoy discussions with 34 renowned speakers about innovative technologies in component manufacture, the use of heat pumps in industrial and commercial applications, issues relating to refrigerants, and the use of hybrid systems and high-temperature heat pumps. In the accompanying foyer expo, 16 companies and institutions showcased their services and product innovations to the professional audience. This year, the congress was complemented by digital elements such as live streams and chat functions. “We are absolutely delighted by the exceptional commitment shown by the heat pump community, so we’d like to say a big thank-you to all exhibitors, participants, speakers and journalists. It was great to see our exhibition centre here in Nuremberg once again become the venue for top-class knowledge transfer and the No. 1 European platform for valuable professional dialogue of the highest calibre about all aspects of the heat pump. After a turbulent time, the more than 260 delegates from 26 countries reinforce the importance of the European Heat Pump Summit for international heat pump experts,” Heinkel continues.
