RETA-RSES Introduces Online Exams and Training Bundles for HVACR Technicians

The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) has launched a new online end-of-course exam series, allowing HVACR technicians to complete exams remotely and earn NATE Continuing Education Hours (CEHs). The initiative aims to provide greater accessibility and flexibility for industry professionals looking to enhance their skills.

Available through the RSES Canvas eLearning platform, both members and non-members can purchase training courses and exams via the RSES online store. Technicians can study at their own pace and take the final exam online. A passing score of 70% or higher grants them a digital certificate and CEHs, which may strengthen resumes and improve job performance.

“RSES is attempting to make continuing education and certificate achievements easier for the industry,” said Jim Barron, Executive Director of RETA-RSES. “Adding online courses that adhere to the training materials and their respective exams is one way we are able to do this. We are looking forward to generating more defined pathways for HVACR industry professionals in the near future.”

The course and exam series covers various technical topics, including refrigeration, heating, electricity, and controls. Training materials are available in both digital and print formats, providing multiple learning options.
