Held under the theme, “Focus on Heat Pump Innovation to Pursuit Low-Carbon Development”, the 1st China Heat Pump Conference (CHPC2022) took place in Hangzhou, China on October 24 to 27, 2022.
This conference was co-sponsored by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR) and the Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR), and attracted over 700 participants and 22 sponsors.
During the 3 days, presentations focused on heat pump segments such as industry, commercial, agriculture and transportation were shared over 12 parallel technical sessions, and the plenary sessions featured 14 reports from international experts.
Why this conference?
In order for China to achieve its goal of “carbon neutrality by 2060”, heat pumps have been highlighted to play a key role in this strategy, thus innovations and applications of heat pumps in buildings, industries and transportations are very important.
The newly founded China Heat Pump Conference (CHPC) therefore offers an opportunity for stakeholders in the global heat pump field to exchange cutting-edge technologies, hot topics and policy orientation.
