Alfa Laval has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in the US

Alfa Laval has won an order from a Taiwanese engineering company to supply compact heat exchangers to a petrochemical plant in the US. The order has a value of approximately SEK 85 million. It is booked in the Welded Heat Exchangers unit of the Energy Division, with deliveries scheduled for 2019.

The order comprises Alfa Laval Compabloc heat exchangers which will be installed in an ethylene glycol plant and used for a variety of process applications, including heat recovery, cooling and heating.

“Here we have another large energy efficiency order in a short period of time,” says Susanne Pahlén Åklundh, President of the Energy Division. “The order proves that our customers recognize Alfa Laval’s compact heat exchangers as both reliable and energy efficient.
