Beijer Ref acquires Webb Supply

Beijer Ref has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Webb Supply (“Webb”), a North American wholesale HVAC distributor. The company is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio and serves contractors in Northeastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania – territories adjacent to Beijer Ref’s current holdings in the US. Webb has annual sales of approximately SEK 200 million.

Founded in 1965, Webb Supply is a family-owned company with more than 55 years of experience. The Webb team is made up of professionals committed to delivering solutions for different HVAC market segments, such as residential add-on replacements and commercial projects. The company is closely aligned with Beijer Ref’s key suppliers in the US region.

Webb will continue to operate under its own brand, in both distribution and marketing. The existing management will roll-over investment into Beijer Ref’s US platform and continue to run the business. The acquisition is expected to have a minor positive impact on the group’s result and position. Webb Supply employs approximately 40 people.

Christopher Norbye, CEO Beijer Ref, comments: “We are pleased to welcome Webb Supply to the Beijer Ref Group. The acquisition aligns with our overall growth strategy and complements our existing offer in the US well. Webb Supply brings substantial expertise and knowledge, and we look forward to continuing developing the company together with its current owners.”
