Daikin Group Releases Sustainability Report 2024

Daikin Industries, Ltd. has released the English edition of its Sustainability Report 2024, which details the company's ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) information and outlines its strategy for contributing to a sustainable society through business activities. The report covers fiscal 2023 activities, results, and future plans.

The 2024 edition focuses on Daikin's efforts to achieve both business growth and sustainability, centering on the themes of the three-year plan under the Fusion 25 strategic management plan formulated in fiscal 2023.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

"Air conditioning is an important form of infrastructure supporting our daily lives, and its demand is expected to increase for health and economic development reasons. However, air conditioning has a significant impact on the environment due to its high electricity consumption. Addressing society's needs for air solutions and contributing to the decarbonization of society is the Group's most important social mission. We will seize change as an opportunity to contribute to a sustainable society and grow as a corporate group," said Masanori Togawa, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Daikin.
