Klingenburg USA Becomes Part of CAREL USA Inc.

As of May 1st, Klingenburg’s commercial subsidiary, Klingenburg USA LLC, has become part of CAREL USA Inc.

Acquired in September 2020 by CAREL INDUSTRIES S.p.A., Klingenburg is a leading manufacturer of rotary heat exchangers used primarily for heat recovery in ventilation and humidification systems, for adiabatic cooling, and for air purification. With approximately 200 employees and two production plants, one in Germany and one in Poland, it already had a direct commercial presence in Spain, with a subsidiary that became part of CAREL Iberica in the autumn of 2023.

Edevaldo Bomfin, Americas Regional CEO, commented: "The strategic acquisition of Klingenburg confirms our Group's ability to achieve growth objectives. This move marks a significant step towards enhancing our product range for the air handling unit industry and strengthens our technologies in the heat exchanger sector within North America. With the addition of Klingenburg USA, we further establish ourselves as a leading provider of comprehensive control solutions with a strong focus on energy efficiency in the HVACR industry".

Rolf Oberhaus, CEO of Klingenburg, added: "With the merger of Klingenburg USA, LLC into CAREL USA, we have accomplished a further step in the integration of the Klingenburg Group into the CAREL Group. I am delighted that our colleagues from Klingenburg USA are now part of CAREL's large US team. Our customers can of course continue to rely on the usual high quality of our products and our delivery reliability".
