Martin Büchsel new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at BITZER

Effective 1 April 2021, Martin Büchsel is going to be the new Member of the Executive Board and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at BITZER. Gianni Parlanti is resigning from his position and returning to his home country as Managing Director of BITZER Italia at his own request.

Martin Büchsel has held leading positions at various companies belonging to the Freudenberg Group in Germany, France and the USA since 2003. In 2012, he started to work for EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG, which has been active in sealing technology for rotating and static equipment for 125 years. EagleBurgmann is a subsidiary of the Freudenberg Group. He held different positions there, including his latest one of Vice President Sales and Marketing. He studied business administration and mechanical engineering. ‘BITZER is a rock-solid company that performs well even in the current pandemic crisis. Many talented people have contributed to this success and everybody can be very proud of it. I am impressed with the degree of digitalization at BITZER. This is an excellent starting point for meeting future customer needs and ensuring high customer loyalty,’ states Büchsel.

‘With Mr Büchsel, our company has found the ideal successor who will guarantee the continuity of the business. We, the Executive Board of BITZER, are very pleased that Mr Büchsel can rely on the full support of Mr Parlanti during the transition period’, says Christian Wehrle, Member of the Executive Board and Chief Operations Officer at BITZER. ‘With 30 years of experience in the industry, Gianni Parlanti is a true refrigeration and air conditioning expert who has brought BITZER a great step forward – especially when looking at the further diversification of the BITZER Group. We are all very pleased that he will remain with the company in his new role as Managing Director of BITZER Italia and Green Point Servizi Industriali. We wish him good luck in Italy – buona fortuna in Italia.’

As Managing Director of BITZER Italia, Gianni Parlanti will be responsible for one of the most important markets of BITZER in the EMEA region. He succeeds Andrea Zocche who retired at the end of last year.
