Modine Announces 2019 Innovation Tour Focused on Peak HVAC Performance

Modine Manufacturing Company is set to begin its 2019 Innovation Tour, which will offer new and updated CEU/NATE courses and showcase the latest in HVAC solutions that revolve around the tour's theme of Peak Performance.

Traveling across North America, Modine's 2019 Innovation Tour features professional development seminars and showcases a full line of HVAC solutions integrated into a 53 foot semi-truck, including the:
  • Atherion Package ventilation system
  • Effinity Unit heater
  • High Intensity Patio Heater
  • High Intensity Gas Fired Infrared
  • ClassMate Vertical Package HVAC system
  • Hot Dawg Unit Heater
  • Direct Fired Make-up air
  • Hot Dawg H2O
  • Ceiling Cassette
  • Horizontal Electric Heater

"This is our forth Innovation Tour, and each year gives us more insight into what attendees want to see and learn about," said Kimberly Raduenz, marketing communications manager for Modine. "This year we're concentrating on the theme of Peak Performance, and we've completely renovated the truck to include more products, interactive displays, a VR experience, and an overall more immersive experience around that theme.

The tour will include U.S. stops in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Boston, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Denver, St. Louis, Dallas and Memphis, and will also stop in Toronto, Canada. Each stop will include a day focused on the commercial and specified products and trainings and a day focused on unitary products and trainings.

"The industry is rapidly changing and with building connectivity and integrated technology becoming commonplace, we wanted to make sure that all those who attend the Innovation Tour get the most up-to-date courses and walk away with more knowledge about how to better serve their customers," Raduenz said. "We encourage those in the industry that are interested to sign up for the free event.

Modine Manufacturing Company will be in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Friendship Auditorium, and in City of Industry on Wednesday, March 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at SpeedZone, for its first stops on the 2019 Innovation Tour.

The March 26 classes will focus on topics for Modine's commercial and specified products, while the classes on March 27 will focus on Modine's unitary products. The following courses will also be offered:

Engineering Courses at Friendship Auditorium on March 26

  • Dediated Outdoor Air Systems Basics (CEU)
  • Modine Controls – Sequence of operations

Distribution Courses at SpeedZone on March 27

  • Venting of Unit Heaters (NATE)
  • Modine Infrared Overview
  • Hot Dawg Unit Heater Trouble Shooting
Modine will be in Little Falls, New Jersey, on April 23 and 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Yogi Berra Museum and Learning Center for its second stop on the 2019 Innovation Tour.

The April 23 classes will focus on topics for Modine's commercial and specified products, while the classes on April 24 will focus on Modine's unitary products.The following courses will also be offered:

Engineering Courses on April 23
  • Sound Principals of HVAC Equiptment (CEU)
  • Updating School Systems: Existing Unit Replacement

Distribution Courses on April 24

  • Venting of Unit Heaters (NATE)
  • Infrared Unit Heater Basics (NATE)
  • Hot Dawg Unit Heater Trouble Shooting
Modine Manufacturing Company will be in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 14 and 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Holiday Inn Bunker Hill for its third stop on the 2019 Innovation Tour.

In addition to the product showcase, CEU and NATE continuing education will be provided for credits as well as Modine product training and walkthroughs.The following courses will also be offered:
  • Dedicated Outdoor Air System Basics (CEU)
  • Venting of Unit Heaters (NATE)
  • Hot Dawg® Unit Heater Trouble Shooting
  • ClassMate Teardown Demo
  • Effinity (PTC) with BMS Compatibilities Demo

Modine Manufacturing Company will be in Toronto, Ontario, on June 11 and 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Vaughan Holiday Inn Express for its fourth stop on the 2019 Innovation Tour.

In addition to the product showcase, Modine will be provided product training and walkthroughs. The following courses will be offered:

  • Effinity (PTC) with BMS Compatibilities Demo
  • Basics of Make-Up Air
  • Atherion Walk-through

Modine Manufacturing Company will be in Denver, Colorado, on August 20 and 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at Wings over the Rockies for its fifth stop on the 2019 Innovation Tour.

"Denver's population has grown significantly in the past decade and the city is rapidly developing commercial and multi-unit residential spaces to accommodate the population boom," said Kimberly Raduenz, marketing communications manager for Modine. "We want to connect with Denver trade professionals, like HVAC engineers, contractors and architects, to help them deliver the best solutions to this growing city."
