Modine appoints Art Laszlo to lead new US data centers segment

Modine has promoted Art Laszlo to President of its newly created Data Centers segment, effective April 1, 2026. The business was previously part of the company’s Climate Solutions segment. Modine said it will begin reporting the Data Centers and Climate Solutions segments separately with its first-quarter fiscal 2027 results.

Eric McGinnis will continue to lead the remainder of the Climate Solutions segment until his previously announced planned retirement. The Performance Technologies segment will continue to be reported separately until its spin-off later in 2026 as part of the previously announced transaction with Gentherm.

According to the company, Laszlo will be responsible for growth and profitability in Modine’s Data Centers business. Modine said the new segment reflects the growth and opportunities it sees in the data center market.

“I am thrilled to announce Art’s promotion to this critical leadership role,” said Neil D. Brinker, President and Chief Executive Officer of Modine. “Art’s proven leadership and deep focus on providing critical cooling solutions make him the ideal choice to lead this new segment.”

Laszlo joined Modine in 2022 and has since held a series of progressively senior leadership roles. Before joining Modine, he served as President, Advanced Flow Solutions at IDEX, focusing on the downstream oil and gas sector, and previously held leadership positions at General Electric, Brunswick Corporation, Mars Incorporated and General Motors.
