REHVA and ASHRAE Renew Partnership with Memorandum of Understanding

REHVA has announced the renewal of its partnership with ASHRAE through the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing took place during the ASHRAE Winter Meeting in Orlando, USA.

REHVA President Catalin Lungu met with ASHRAE President-elect Bill McQuade to sign the MoU, reinforcing the long-standing collaboration between the two organizations. The renewed agreement aims to strengthen cooperation on initiatives related to building engineering, indoor climate, and energy efficiency.

During the meeting, Catalin Lungu also held discussions with ASHRAE President Denis Knight and engaged with several key members of the ASHRAE community, including former presidents Ginger Scoggins and Tim Wenz.

The event was well attended by representatives from both organizations, with notable figures from REHVA including Ioan Silviu Dobosi, Bjarne W. Olesen, Bratislav Blagojević, Ilinca Nastase, Marco Ignatovici, REHVA Journal Editor-in-Chief Jaap Hogeling, Martin Dieryckx, Claudio Zilio, Luca Pitera, and Gratiela Tarlea.

REHVA expressed enthusiasm about the renewed partnership and looks forward to continuing its collaboration with ASHRAE on projects that support innovation and knowledge-sharing in the HVAC industry.
