SANHUA-XJTU Associated R&D Center Built

Sanhua Holding Group and Xi’an Jiaotong University launched SANHUA-XJTU Associated R&D Center (short for Associated R&D Center) grand opening ceremony in September. The R&D Center will play a role in industrialization of SANHUA EV thermal management technology and advanced heat transfer technology. It marks an important step for SANHUA being a global leader in heat exchanger industry.

The programme kicked off by Dr. Huang Lin-jie, Vice President and Chief Scientist of Sanhua Holding Group, and professor Tao Wenquan, an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professor at the School of Energy and Power Engineering of XJTU. Dr. Gao Qiang, Sanhua MCHE R&D Director, and Dr. Qi Zhaogang, Director of External Cooperation Committee of Advanced Technology Center, signed an agreement with Professor Yu Jianlin and Professor Zeng Min from Xi’an Jiaotong University about relevant research.

The Associated R&D Center built a strong close tie between academics and industry, and it would get success, Professor Li Jiangtao said, and he appreciated SANHUA’s sponsor and support on behalf of XJTU.

Dr. Huang Lin-jie thought that the Associated R&D Center helps to implement SANHUA’s strategy—“to transcend traditional thinking, led by focusing on creative innovation”. We hope a win-win by combining academic research and enterprise operations.

Professor Tao Wenquan delivered a speec. He hopes that experts and scholars actively take part in this cooperation; He also hopes that it will be like ACRC or CEEE at last by exploring a new cooperation model.

SANHUA has a deep relationship with Xi’an Jiaotong University, the latter delivered a large number of outstanding talents to SANHUA. SANHUA maintains close ties with Xi’an Jiaotong University for more than 30 years. Since the early 1980s, SANHUA sent employees to Xi’an Jiaotong University for further study; they came back and made big contributions to SANHUA. Last November, SANHUA went to Xi’an Jiaotong University for recruitment and discussed cooperation, and finally SANHUA-XJTU Associated R&D Center was built one year later.
