Viessmann Kühlsysteme and kke GmbH awarded as Top Supplier Retail for the project with Metro St. Pölten in Austria

The EHI Energy Management Award has now been awarded for 11 years. The winners are selected by an expert jury, which is composed of an independent team of experts. The EHI Energy Management Award (EMA) is intended to identify and promote outstanding energy management concepts, energy efficiency projects and innovative technologies and concepts with a particular relevance for climate protection in the retail sector.

Last year, this prize has been awarded to the top modern METRO wholesale market "ZERO 1" in St. Pölten in Austria, about which we reported here in Vi2Go recently. The first zero-energy operating building in Europe received the award in the category "Pilot branches with exemplary energy efficiency / sustainability". The Viessmann locations Hof (Bavaria), Kesselsdorf (Saxony) and Porvoo (Finland) worked closely together for this project - under the auspices of the project specialists of kke GmbH.

What is new is that awards for service providers and suppliers of the award-winning projects have now been honored as well.

Since 2017, the service providers and suppliers of the winners, who have supported the trade in the development and implementation of innovative solutions, are also appreciated.

For the zero energy market in St. Pölten, Viessmann Kühlsysteme GmbH and kke GmbH have been named Top Supplier Retail 2019 since yesterday. The certificates were handed over by Daniel Ochs, Advertising Manager of the Lebensmittelzeitung, at the headquarters of kke GmbH in Kesselsdorf near Dresden yesterday.

Managing Director of Viessmann Kühlsysteme Jörg Straßburger and Managing Director Jens-Uwe König on behalf of kke GmbH as well as Stephan Rauchfuß, Head of Special Plant Engineering, and Ralf Bartzsch, Technical Development, accepted the award.

This award represents the great cooperation between all locations of Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions.
