Carrier Introduces the Aqua Force Vision 30KAVP

Carrier announces the launch of the AquaForce Vision 30KAVP, its premium variable-speed air-cooled screw chiller that reaches a never before seen seasonal energy efficiency ratio rating of 5.6, which is 25% above the Ecodesign 2021 Tier 2 requirements. Carrier, a world leader in high-technology heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions, is a part of

Carrier’s AquaForce Vision 30KAVP covers cooling capacities from 500 kW up to 1100 kW and achieves premium energy performance, even compared to oil-free chillers with magnetic levitation compressors. Combined with EC variable-speed fans, the twin screw compressor equipped with cutting-edge permanent magnet motor technology offers optimal operation at part load, compared to traditional compressor technologies. The permanent magnet motor ensures a constant efficiency over the entire operating range.

“The exceptional performance of the AquaForce Vision 30KAVP provides customers with never before seen efficiency that can be optimised even further with Carrier’s smart energy monitoring function,” said Quentin Garcia San Mateo, product manager, Carrier, HVAC Europe. “Specific Carrier algorithms provide smart data to achieve higher energy savings under real conditions.”

Heat recovery and partial heat recovery functions will be available in 2019 to offer industrial process applications a more sustainable heating solution using renewable energy.

In France, the 30KAVP range may be eligible for financial incentives of up to 425 000 euros depending on specifications.

The AquaForce Vision PUREtec 30KAVP-ZE, designed exclusively for ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerant HFO R-1234ze, will be available in 2019 as well.
