Dearman at IAA Commercial Vehicle Show

Dearman demonstrated its groundbreaking refrigerated trailer to an audience of 250,000 for the 67th IAA Commercial Vehicle Show in Hanover, Germany.

The Dearman Hubbard Transport Refrigeration Unit (TRU) was demonstrated to some of Europe’s largest retailers, fleet managers and operators in the Open Air Section at the Hannover Fairground, the largest exhibition ground in the world.

The zero-emission, low carbon, high performance, quiet and cost-effective Dearman Hubbard TRU will enable fleet managers and operators to prepare for the toughest emission regulations while also maintaining efficiency and profitability.

The trailer has been used on the road by some of Europe’s largest retailers including, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Unilever.

Nitrogen oxide emissions from a diesel TRU are six times higher than those of a Euro VI truck propulsion engine, and particulate matter emissions are 29 times higher. The Dearman TRU completely eliminates both emissions and also has the potential to eliminate carbon dioxide emissions by 96%.
