RV Cooling Tech enlarges its capacities

The Spanish company is integrating Bitzer’s new open screw compressors for use with NH₃ in all its equipment.

Spanish company RV Cooling Tech is enlarging its ammonia-based refrigeration equipment capacities by using Bitzer’s new open screw compressors for use with NH₃ in all its equipment.

The OSKA 95 series of Bitzer open-drive screw compressors for use in industrial applications such as ammonia-based refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps enlarges volume flows up to 1,015 m³/h at 2,900 revolutions per minute.

The OS.95 series compressors integrate electronics, an optimised slider concept for seamlessly adjustable capacity control, and Vi adjustment for maximum efficiency at every operating point, according to RV Cooling Tech.

The series, with R717, can offer a cooling capacity of up to 400 kW for low temperature applications, and when operating as a heat pump it has a heating capacity of approximately 750 to 1,500 kW per compressor, according to Bitzer.
