IRC Business Briefing - Food Transport and Storage

IRC Business Briefing - Food Transport and Storage

Thursday 25th February 2021 10:30 to 15:30

This IRC Business Briefing is designed to explore the challenges facing the food and drink logistics industry serving UK and EU customers now that the United Kingdom has left the European Union.

It is still very early days for this new trading relationship but already lessons are being learned and alternative modes of operation are being developed.  Behind this, however, the fundamentals of food science remain the same: the value of produce is linked to its time-temperature profile and any extension of the delivery process could have damaging consequences all along the supply chain.

This meeting will be of interest to operators in this sector but also to their suppliers and customers and is of wider interest to other professionals who support this trade in one way or another.
