Parker Sporlan Webinar, What is Refrigeration? Part 2

Sporlan presents the thirteenth webinar in the Supermarket Seminar Series.

Jim Jansen, Sr. Application Engineer, and John Withouse, Sr. Principal Engineer, will discuss “What is Refrigeration?” Part 2.

Please join us for this webinar as we continue to discuss the basic principles of Thermodynamics and the Vapor-Compression Refrigeration Cycle. We will introduce the Pressure-Enthalpy Diagram and use it to explain the necessity of refrigerant phase change as we strive to make things cool, cold, and frozen.

You will learn why the word, ton, is so closely associated with air conditioning and refrigeration system capacity, why ice is such a big deal, what importance the Net Refrigerating Effect of refrigerants plays in a system, and much more.
